Please find below relevant dates:

Timeline

Important Dates Dates
Submission of workshop proposals Februrary 4, 2022 February 28, 2022(23:59 US Pacific time)

Workshops should present innovative research on emerging and rapidly developing areas at the intersection between biorobotics, biomechatronics, and their impact on people and lives. They could also include demonstrations of software/hardware, video-material, and live-DEMOs. Tutorials should provide in-depth insights into methodologies and techniques that are bound to enable progress in biorobotics- and biomechatronics-related fields.
Workshop proposals should specify how the event engages attendees and encourages interaction that would not be otherwise possible via regular BioRob 2022 technical sessions.

  • All workshops/tutorials will be held for about 2 hours and 15 minutes, as morning, early afternoon, or late afternoon sessions. Organizers may request their event to span more than one session. Please be aware that the possibility to organize longer workshops/tutorials will depend on room availability. The organizing committee reserves the right to shorten workshops/tutorials to one session, if necessary.
  • All registered for the conference will be able to attend the workshops without extra charges.
→If you would like to attend the workshops, please be sure to select the ‘Workshops’ category on the registration form.
  • All attendees, organizers, and speakers of workshops/tutorials will have to register for the conference.
  • The organizing committee will provide lunch/light refreshments on the day of the workshop.

If an invited speaker/organizer is involved in more than one proposal, this must be noted, sorting proposals in descending order of priority. If multiple excellent proposals are received on overlapping topics, acceptance may be conditional to merging proposals into one single event.
Proposals must be submitted via PaperPlaza by February 4th February 28, 2022, and must follow the provided Microsoft Word template. Workshop organizers will be informed about the acceptance of their proposal by March 11th, 2022 March 25, 2022. Organizers of accepted proposals will be asked to provide an abstract and a dedicated website for their event.
